She studied cello with renowned cellist Paula Kiffner and was accepted into the University of Victoria School of Music as a cello student. She went on to complete a degree in Music Therapy and has built a career combining her love of music with her passion for connecting with others. Rebecca continues to work in music therapy and recreation therapy with seniors in the Victoria area.
Throughout her career, Rebecca has believed that everyone can—and should—have the opportunity to experience the joy of making music. She has taught music therapy-based cello and piano lessons to children for many years, bringing creativity, encouragement, and a love of music into her teaching.
Today, Rebecca enjoys performing cello with various string ensembles throughout Vancouver Island. Whether providing elegant music for a wedding, adding warmth to a celebration, marking a meaningful milestone, or creating a beautiful atmosphere for a special event, she brings both professional musicianship and a genuine love of connecting with people through music.
For Rebecca, music truly is the language of the soul. It has been a lifelong part of who she is, and she feels privileged to share it with others during life’s most meaningful moments.
